Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Wexford County Court Docket. By reading pages, using a displayed search feature, or otherwise accessing the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not continue to use the site.

NO FCRA USE. Wexford County Court Docket is privately owned and has no affiliation with a local, state, or federal government body or court. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Nothing on this site or through its advertising partners may be used for credit decisions, employment screening, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

1. What This Website Is

Wexford County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It is not part of the Wexford County Clerk's Office, 28th Circuit Court, 84th District Court, Wexford Probate Court, MiCOURT, or any other government office. It does not keep official dockets, issue court orders, alter a setting, file documents, or obtain an official court record for a visitor.

The site describes routes to the Wexford custodians that maintain court files and public case history. For circuit matters, the Wexford County Clerk is the circuit clerk. District and Probate records have separate custodians. MiCOURT may provide informational public case history, but the court of record retains the official file.

2. Informational Use Only

Material on this site is general information, not an official docket, court order, legal opinion, or legal advice. Wexford court practices, dates, fees, and contact information can change. Confirm a material case detail, deadline, payment amount, or setting with the Wexford court or clerk that maintains the record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree not to use the site in a manner that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. In particular, you will not:

  • Violate federal, Michigan, or local law while using the site
  • Use information from the site to stalk, harass, or threaten another person
  • Use content for a credit, employment, housing, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt to obtain access to systems or information without authorization
  • Run bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against the pages
  • Interfere with the site's operation or another person's access to it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Wexford County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency as the FCRA defines that term. It does not prepare consumer reports, credit reports, or background reports. You may not use information from this site or a linked tool to make a decision about employment, housing, tenancy, credit, insurance, licensing, permits, government benefits, or another purpose governed by the FCRA.

  • Do not use content to decide whether to hire or dismiss a person
  • Do not use content to evaluate a tenant or housing applicant
  • Do not use content to decide creditworthiness or insurance eligibility
  • Do not use content to decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
  • Do not use content for any other FCRA-regulated purpose

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on the site is legal advice. A Wexford docket, case file, or hearing notice can carry legal consequences, and a private reference resource cannot tell a visitor how a particular charge, petition, order, or deadline applies. Consult a licensed Michigan attorney for legal advice about a specific matter.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Information is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is complete, current, error-free, or available without interruption. We do not guarantee that the site will remain available, that its pages have no defects, or that an outside search service will return complete or accurate results.

Wexford dockets can change as filings arrive, hearings are set or moved, and matters are dismissed, amended, or restricted. MiCOURT public history is informational. The clerk or court that holds the file is the source to confirm a docket entry or court date before it is relied upon.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The site may link to Wexford clerk or court pages, MiCOURT, Michigan court rules, legal information resources, and third-party search or advertising services. Those services are independent. We do not control their content, privacy practices, charges, accessibility, or availability. Review a destination's terms before providing it with information or making a payment.

8. Intellectual Property

The site's text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Wexford County Court Docket or its content partners unless another owner is identified. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from site content without written permission, except where law allows otherwise.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wexford County Court Docket is not liable for a loss or damage arising from use of the site, reliance on its information, or use of a linked service. This includes a decision made from content that should instead have been verified with the court or clerk holding the official record.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Wexford County Court Docket harmless from a claim, action, demand, loss, or expense arising from your use of the site or breach of these terms, including reasonable legal fees where allowed by law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. A dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Michigan, subject to applicable law and venue requirements.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.
